Description

Port of Benton is compiling a revised Small Works Roster of contractors who wish to be invited to submit proposals for contracts in the amount of $300,000.00 or less [RCW 53.08.120]. The Small Works Rosters will be comprised of contractors who have requested to be placed on Small Works Rosters and are properly licensed and registered to perform such work in the State of Washington. Contractors working for the Port of Benton must comply with the State of Washington Prevailing Wage Act. Current prevailing wages may be viewed on the State electronically. Applicants to be listed on the Port of Benton's Small Works Roster are ensuring that they will pay prevailing wages on all contracts awarded by the Port. As of July 1, 2019, all businesses are required to have L&I training before bidding and/or performing work on public works projects unless exempt or can show date of training. If you wish to be included on the Small Works Roster, please submit your application on the Port of Benton's electronically. Contractors may submit applications at any time throughout the year, submittals will be held for a period of two (2) years after which it is the contractor's responsibility to submit a new application to remain on the Small Works Roster. The Port of Benton encourages Veterans, minority and women-owned businesses to apply. If the application your company submitted is dated during the calendar year 2020 or earlier, this memo serves as the Port's request for you to renew your application. If an updated application is not received by the two-year deadline, your company will be removed from the respective rosters if expired.
