Floyd/Dace Intersection Improvements - 719-338 - City of Sioux City

This project will involve acquisition to improve turning movements at the Floyd/Dace intersection. In its present condition, the Floyd/Dace intersection is very difficult for large trucks to maneuver through. This maneuvering difficulty hampers the ability of the stockyards area to attract industry. This intersection will be affected by the Gordon Dr Viaduct Replacement Project and will be designed to accommodate the lane configurations onstructed by the Iowa Department of Transportation. Timing of this project is dependent on the relocation of the MidAmerican facilities to 28th Street. This project is included in the fy 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program.
