Description

The Project is defined and outlined as follows: Division A - Construction of a New Town Hall The Contract Division A will consist of the construction of a 2,400 SF new town hall, pole structure, with an emergency generator, connection to an existing potable well, sanitary sewers and gas and electric service. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Bidding documents may be examined at the Burlington Town Hall During Normal Office hours, by call the town at 765 566 3672. Contractors are required to obtain bidding documents from the town. Plans and Specification for the Project are on file and may be examined at the following locations: Town of Burlington Town Hall 49 S. Michigan Street #2 Burlington, Indiana 46915 Copies of the Plans and Contract Documents and Specifications may be obtained at the Burlington Town Hall only. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. The owner may choose any combination of base bid and alternate bids as determined, by Owner. Alternates may or may not be selected it is up to the discretion of the Owner, and this complies with Indiana Bidding Law. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Project site(s) and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents and Specifications. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation with respect to its Bid.
