Description

The wastewater treatment plant improvements includes, but is not limited to mobilization, bonds, and insurance; lift station improvements including touch up coating the piping and wet well penetration covers; Aeration Basin No. 1 improvements including replacement of corroded hardware for the coupling on the existing air header; Clarifier No. 1 improvements including the installation of kickplates at the walkway and drive platform, recoating the handrails, walkway and drive platform, and the cleaning and removal of algae from the weirs and launder trough; Clarifier No. 2 improvements including the demolition and replacement of the scum trough; and the cleaning and removal of algae from the weirs and launder trough; Clarifier No. 3 improvements including the cleaning and removal of algae from the weirs and launder trough, and the blasting and recoating the check valve for the scum piping; Clarifier No. 3 Sludge Pump improvements including recoating the pumps, motors, piping, valves and pipe supports; Digester No. 1 improvements including the demolition and replacement of walkway support columns; Digester No. 3 improvements including the replacement of an air header, pipe supports, and all single drop coarse bubble diffusers on the header; Digester No. 4 improvements including the application of a cement mortar coating to all walls, the installation of a concrete containment pad at the sludge draw-off station and the installation of caps on the draw-off connections; Digester No. 5 improvements including the application of a cement mortar coating to all walls; East Blower Station improvements including the recoating of blowers, motors, blower skids, piping, valves, pipe supports and the header piping; West Blower Station improvements including the relocation of the butterfly valves and touch up coating the air header; Control and Chemical Building improvements including the demolition and replacement of a potable water pipe; the installation of insect screens on two louvers and the replacement of all metal pipe supports for all piping inside the chlorine room; Chemical Storage Building improvements including the replacement of damaged tensile rods for the pre-engineering canopy; Electrical Distribution Panel improvements including the regrading the soil around the foundation to fill all holes; and all else shown on the construction drawings and detailed in the specifications for a complete and operable system.
