Description | Request for Proposals The Litchfield Beaches Property Owners Association (LBPOA) manages 22 public beach access walkways in Georgetown County located in Litchfield Beach and North Litchfield Beach. Each walkway is equipped with trashcans on both the beach side and the street side. LBPOA also manages trash removal from two cans that are located on Litchfield Drive, adjacent to the bridge across Midway Creek. LBPOA is seeking bids for beach trash removal at varying intervals throughout the calendar year 2020, with optional renewals for the years 2021 and 2022. Your bid for the year 2020 should be based on your total price for a single daily pickup of all cans including plastic liners for all cans under LBPOA management, each day a pickup is requested by the LBPOA. The specific number of days that the LBPOA will request pickup services will vary with the quantities of actual trash accumulations, and the weather. We estimate that we will request about 120 to 130 daily pickups over the upcoming year. For planning purposes, we believe the schedule below to be a reasonable forecast of the seasonal distributions of the days that we will request pickups. Forecast Monthly Trash Pickup Schedule Sub-total • Three/month: Jan. and Feb 6 • Once/week: March, Nov., Dec. 14 •Twice/week: Apr., May, Sep, Oct 34 •Five/week: Jun. and Aug. 42 •July as required 31 •Special unscheduled pick ups 6 Total 133 If you wish to bid for optional year 2021, or also for 2022, you may propose different annual fixed prices for single daily pickups that would apply during each of the years 2021 or 2022. As an alternative, you can propose adjusting your 2020 daily pickup price bid for each subsequent year of concern according to a standard index of inflation, as will be measured and published by the U.S. Department of Commerce, during the intervening years. Your bid must contain Proof of Workers Compensation Insurance |
