New Public Works Building

Building a new Public Works Building. The building will be located on a new site located on Palmer Road. The building is approximately 17,700 SF with an 1,846 SF mezzanine totaling 19,595 SF. The building program will consist of offices, conference room (hardened space), parts department, transportation department, sleeping areas, four (4) service bays and additional support facilities. The building will be constructed with a pre-engineered metal building structural system with a metal roof and wall panels, a single ply roof system, stone cladding and rough timber canopy construction. Interior construction will be comprised of hollow metal studs and drywall along with acoustical ceiling tile. All exposed metal to be painted. Detailing is minimal. Sitework and site utilities will be provided by the general contractor (the City will perform limited clearing and rough grading of the site). Sitework will consist of parking for approximately 100 cars on asphalt paving with curb and gutter. Landscaping and exterior lighting as required meeting local zoning regulations.
