| Description | The project consists of constructing the following: 700 ft of 12-inch water main and 4,500 ft of 8-inch water main including fittings, hydrants, valves, and water services. Including all necessary appurtenances, restoration, and road and drive replacement. Plainfield Charter Township will provide all water main materials. Contractor must furnish adequate material, equipment, labor, and supervision to complete the specified work, which also includes testing, inspection, and placing the system in operation. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Plainfield Charter Township in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of ninety (90) days after the receipt of bids. |
