Description

FENCE • Remove portion of fence for access to Project. • Remove posts, fence and gates (166 Feet +/-) • Replace posts, fence and gates after completion of Project. PAVEMENT CRACKS • All cracks 1-inch wide or greater (1500 Feet +/-) must be milled 15-inches wide to a depth to the existing gravel base and replaced with full depth base asphalt (3 ½ -inches +/-) and covered with 24-inch wide Petrotac 4591 Paving Strip Membrane Geotextile (or approved equivalent). See attached documentation. • Seal all minor cracks. FULL DEPTH REPAIRS • Remove 66-square yards of raised pavement on south end of tennis courts as defined on the Plan. Adjust grade and replace with 6-inches full depth base asphalt. LEVELING • Provide 24-square yards leveling course for areas (two) as defined on the Plan. MILLING • Mill all areas (279-square yards) and keyways as defined on the Plan. Please note that this milling is wedge type from 0-inches to depths defined in each area PAVING • Scarify loose color coat and pressure wash entire court surfaces. • Apply tack coat. • Place 1 ¾-inches asphalt surface (4,304-square yards) as defined on the Plan. (asphalt shall have aramid fiber reinforcement – Ace Fiber or approved equivalent). COLOR (See Plan Sheet 4) (4,304-square yards) • Dark Blue on all courts and Light Green on areas around courts as defined on the Plan. • After 14-day minimum asphalt curing period, place two applications of base coat. • Place three applications of acrylic finish. • Stripe courts as defined in the Plan SEALING (See Plan Sheet 5) • Seal all walkways and parking lots as defined on the Plan. • Clean and seal various cracks. • Place two applications of sealer. • Stripe parking lot as defined in the Plan WATER FOUNTAINS (See Plan Sheet 5) • Remove 2 existing water fountains. • Replace with Acorn M-30-BD3 Murdock Retro Barrier Free Freeze Resistant Foot Pedal Drinking Fountain (or approved equivalent).
