Description | Counties: Dist/st-wide Road Name: Emergency Traffic Signal Repair Limits: Midpoint Project(s): 4465921F201(*) Federal Aid No: N/A Total Roadway Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Days: 365 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Total Proposal Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Execution Days: 5 The purpose of this Contract is to provide Generator Installation and Refueling Operations and Traffic Signal Repair Operations pursuant to a Governor's and/or President's Declaration of a State Emergency. This Contract will be a regional contract that will include the Eastern Counties: Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns counties within District 2. The Contractor shall perform Generator Installation and Refueling Operations and Traffic Signal Repair Operations pursuant to the terms of this Contract and at the direction of the Department. District boundaries are as described on the Agency Resources. The Contractor shall provide a letter to the Department at the time of bid, from a surety authorized to do business in the State of Florida verifying the Contractor is bondable in the State of Florida. For the purposes of this Contract the dollar amount is established at $2,000,000.00. Awarded Contractor must execute documents within five (5) calendar days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and state holidays, with General Liability and Worker's Comp Insurance. The Department, at its sole discretion, may award one or more contracts. If more than one award is made, award will be based off the lowest responsive bid then the next lowest responsive bid and so forth, and activated in the same order. No quantities are guaranteed and there will be no unit cost adjustment for quantities required over or under the estimated quantities. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00. A check or draft in an amount less than five percent (5%) of the actual bid will invalidate the bid. Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10)Calendar days of award, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and state holidays, unless noted otherwise in the project specifications.
