East Fork Creek Box Culvert Replacement

The East Fork Creek Box Culvert Replacement project is the removal and replacement of the Box Culvert over the East Fork Creek canal, that is located on Dixie Highway, 0.1 miles Northwest of SE Grafton Avenue, in Stuart, FL. Application No. 210724-6926 The cost estimate for this project is $1,367,000.00. The project will consist of replacing the box culvert and separated pedestrian bridge into a single span bridge structure, clearing and grubbing, embankment, excavation, roadway widening, driveway reconstruction, rip-rap installation, guardrail installation and removal, signage and striping. The scope of work also includes erosion control, sodding, temporary traffic control (MOT) and other incidental work as shown and specified in the contract documents. Bidders are encouraged to utilize local vendors for subcontracted work under this Contract. The Contractor and its subcontractors shall take all necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible.
