Description

Questions Due Date: Jul 11th 2023, 11:30 AM CDT Provide Labor and Materials: 1) Provide necessary labor and materials cut and remove the entire set of boiler tubes. 2) Clean the tube holes and normal debris in the boiler. 3) Furnish and install (344) 2"x110" tubes beaded at the front and rear. 4) Remove and replace all the waterside gaskets. 5) Fill and test the boiler. 6) Close the boiler. 7) Start burner to ensure proper operation. 8) Perform Factory Start Up Upon Completion. 9) Contractor to secure necessary permits. 10) Contractor to field verify dimensions and specifics of all projects listed above before placing bid. 11) Not responsible for contractor errors as a result of non-field verification. 12) Materials and installation must comply with CPS Standards and Specifications as listed on a. SECTION 23 01 51 STEAM AND HOT WATER BOILER RENOVATION 13) If building or CPS properties are damaged during construction, contractor to replace and/or repair as necessary. 14) Provide necessary labor and materials to fix/correct issues preventing any or all of the projects to be marked as completed. 15) All work shall be coordinated with the Board authorized representatives to complete in an agreed upon time frame. 16) Contractor crew is to remove and dispose of materials torn out and any construction debris. 17) All trash must be removed off-sight by contractor, leaving area clean. 18) Secure job site overnight if work is not completed in one day. 19) Clean the surrounding area and make sure all is swept of debris. 20) All questions/requests must be received two (2) business days prior to bid closing
