Residential Garbage Collection, Transportation, and Disposal Services Including Single Stream Recyclables Collection and Processing

The work to be performed shall consist of the collection of residential garbage, ashes, refuse, trash and paper, as defined, within the boundaries of the Borough of Bridgeport, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania ("Borough"), and transportation of same to a disposal facility, transfer station or local landfill within 50 miles of the Borough for disposal in accordance with any such rules as may be issued by the Borough and also the Pennsylvania Municipal Waste Planning, Recycling and Waste Reduction Act 101. Scope of Services: Contractor shall collect refuse as defined herein and described in Options below. For each option, Contractor shall also collect once per month one (1) nonwhite bulk item from each dwelling unit in the Borough. 1. Option 1, Contractor shall collect trash on two (2) days per week, Tuesday and Friday of each week during the entire period of the Agreement, in addition to the collection of recyclables on one (1) day per week, Tuesday of each week during the entire period of the Agreement. 2. Option 2, Contractor shall collect both trash and recyclables as defined herein, on Tuesday of each week.
