Number: AC-STBG-1061(4)E Replacement of Small Structure No. 21073X0 on MD 491 Carrying roadway drainage in Washington County, Maryland. The new structure will be a double 22" x 34" horizontal elliptical reinforced concrete pipe culvert, 72 feet in length, with a 44 foot wide clear roadway. The work includes the removal of the existing double corrugated metal pipe culvert and associated headwalls, and 0.027 miles of approach roadway work. Traffic will be maintained during construction Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
