Description

The work to be performed by the successful bidder (“Contractor”), Asphalt Pavement Reclamation by Cold In-Place Method,is a multi-step process of asphalt pavement reclamation that consists of reduction of the existing pavement to a granular material of the specified gradation followed by shaping, grading, and compaction of that granular material. Additionally, a stabilizing liquid, liquid calcium chloride or a liquid asphalt emulsion, can be introduced during reduction of the existing pavement to granular material and during or after compaction.
