Description

St. Bernard Parish School Board Disaster Restoration and Recovery Pre-Event Contract The St. Bernard Parish School Board, 200 E. St. Bernard Hwy., Chalmette, LA 70043 hereby solicits proposals from qualified vendors to provide for a Pre-Event Contract for Disaster Restoration and Recovery of the district's schools and other facilities. The provisions of the contract will be executed upon the occurrence of a natural or manmade disaster, with the objective of providing restoration, recovery, and remediation services to allow for the district's schools and other facilities damaged by water, wind, fire, or other causes to be safely restored for their intended uses. The contract will be awarded for a two-year period beginning with the date of execution of the contract. Multiple contracts may be awarded. Proposals shall be either hand delivered by the bidder or his agent in which instance the deliverer shall be handed a written receipt or such bid shall be sent by registered or certified mail with a return receipt requested. Additionally, bids may be submitted electronically via procedures established online. Proposals submitted via fax or email will not be accepted. Proposers may schedule a meeting or a conference call for the purpose of discussion and clarification of our request. During this time any questions concerning the RFP package will be addressed. Written questions concerning this Request for Proposal package should be addressed to Laura Carlin Dorcey at the address noted above, faxed to 504-301-2010, or emailed to lcarlin@sbpsb.org, and should be clearly marked "RFP DISASTER CLEANUP AND RECOVERY." All calls and written questions must be received by 4:00 p.m. May 31, 2023. This announcement does not commit the St. Bernard Parish School Board to purchase or to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of proposals. The St. Bernard Parish School Board reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, all proposals submitted and/or to cancel this announcement. All purchases awarded shall be based upon the proposal most advantageous to the St. Bernard Parish School Board, price and other factors considered. All purchases are subject to the availability of funds. All quantities and components are dependent upon proposer's design and submission.
