Description

Work includes furnishing, transporting and placing by machine and manually, bituminous concrete base course, leveling course, and wearing course on roads, parking lots and Other locations as ordered by the Department Of Public Works. Incidental hand work such as placing and compacting material in potholes, around catch basins, manholes and curbs as well as grading and feathering edges is also included. This item also includes the placement Of temporary ramps at driveways or other locations where, in the opinion of the Town's inspectors, there is a need to provide safe access until the permanent handwork is completed.
