Desilting of the Rahway River and Replacement of Dam Gates at Droescher's Dam and Hansel Dam

Removal of builtup sediment within the Rahway River and the replacement of the dam gates at Droescher’s Dam and Hansel Dam within the Township of Cranford. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the Drawings and as described in the Specifications. The work consists of the removal of built-up sediment in the Rahway River and the replacement of the sluice gates at Droescher’s Dam and Hansel Dam. The work is located within Sperry Park along Riverside Drive and within Droescher’s Mill Park along Lincoln Avenue East within the Township of Cranford and includes: Installing four dam gates, concrete work, sediment removal, restoration, testing and proper disposal of all materials in accordance with the Township, County, NJDOT, and NJDEP standards. The work shall be completed within 120 calendar days of the Contractor’s receipt of written Notice to Proceed.
