Description

The double wall fuel lines located in the sumps under the three fuel dispensers (3 Gasboy Atlas Pumps) must be extended in accordance with the manufacture’s specifications. Upon completion of the pipe extension, all sumps must be tested in accordance with DEP regulations and passing test results must be provided to The Department of Public Works. Sump sensors shall be installed in each of the fuel sumps in accordance with DEP regulations. Training shall be provided to the site personnel in proper maintenance and operations of sump sensors. Additionally, compliance with the following requests must also be met: 1. All materials shall be supplied by the contractor. 2. Removal of existing entry boots and double wall test fittings in dispenser sumps. 3. Clean and prepare all surfaces. 4. Install new repair fittings by bonding them. 5. Perform sump test above highest penetrations. 6. Install standalone sensors under each dispenser. 7. Test all sensors for proper operation. 8. Provide training to site personnel in proper operation of sensors in the event the sensors are in alarm. 9. Provide training on proper procedure to reset sensors if they are activated
