Description | The City of Davenport, Florida, is soliciting bids to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, management, administration, supervision, insurance coverage, and any other facilities and services necessary to successfully construct, start-up, and warranty the completed Project (CITY OF DAVENPORT 16-INCH WATER MAIN NORTH BOULEVARD EXTENSION ITB 2022-005). The Project is generally described as replacement of existing smaller water mains with a new 16-inch PVC water main. All respective water services, valves and fire hydrants will be replaced and reconnected. Additionally, the project will provide water services to all properties: existing residential properties and vacant lots. Further, pursuant to federal law the Owner may not award this contract to any bidder which is debarred or suspended or is otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation in federal assistance programs under Executive Order 12549, "Debarment and Suspension. All bid questions must be received prior to Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 5:00 pm local time to the engineer of record Kayla Lockcuff, P.E. (klockcuff@cphcorp.com) to be answered. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities; reject any and all bids which are incomplete, conditional, obscure, or which contain additions not allowed for; accept or reject any bids in whole or in part with or without cause; and accept the bid which best serves the interests of the City. Pursuant to the requirements of Section 287, Florida Statutes, all qualifiers are subject to those provisions pertaining to Public Entity Crimes and the Convicted Vendor List. |
