Engineer's Estimate $950,000 to $1,250,000 CITY OF SALEM PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT WOODMANSEE PARK PHASE I IMPROVEMENTS WORK DESCRIPTION: The Work under this contract includes demolition of the existing tennis courts, site grading, reconstruction of the asphalt pavement tennis courts; including application of acrylic surfacing and paint products, construction of stormwater improvements, a shelter floor slab, concrete and asphalt access paths, sidewalk, and miscellaneous landscaping and irrigation system construction. QUALIFICATIONS OF BIDDERS: The Bidder shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction/reconstruction of tennis courts. The installer of the acrylic surfacing and crack repair systems shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience and be an approved/licensed installer by the manufacturer of the materials to be used. All prospective Bidders must submit a list of at least two (2) previous similar work projects performed within the last Ten (10) years. Bidders shall provide a full description of the scope of work performed, products used, and provide contact information of the customer/client/owner for which the work was performed. Experience information shall be submitted with Bidders Bid. BID SECURITY: Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. AWARD: The City of Salem (City) reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for thirty (30) days.
