Description

Work is to provide Construction Services for Northview High School and Milton High School Additions. - Northview High School: BUILDING ADDITIONS New Fitness Lab Addition (Approximately 2,520 sf) Black Box Theater Addition (Approx. 3,920 sf) Art Lab Addition (Approx. 1,422 sf) & 1,376 Exterior Courtyard Existing building systems including security, intercom, fire protection, mechanical, mechanical control, electrical and plumbing, etc. will be extended into the new building additions. HVAC Test and Balance. EXISTING BUILDING; Renovation of existing Art labs Space New finishes in the existing Fitness Lab space New lighting, fire alarm, intercom, and HVAC systems are to be installed in the Existing weight Room Building. Existing fire alarm and intercom systems will be replaced throughout the existing building. Prior to demolition of existing fire alarm system: Test the existing dlow switch connection to the existing fire alarm panel and test the signal to the 911 call center. Perform low voltage testing in accordance with general requirements section 011001, 1.3, Obligations of Contractor. Contractor shall test to verify HVAC unit shut down (during alarm) and smoke damper operations (during alarm). CIVIL WORK Relocation of the existing site utilities, grading, new sidewalks, and partial asphalt paving replacement associated with the construction of the new additions. Milton High School: BUILDING ADDITIONS New Fitness Lab Addition (Approximately 2,590 sf) Existing building systems including security, intercom, fire protection, mechanical, mechanical control, electrical and plumbing, etc. will be extended into the new building additions. HVAC Test and Balance. Perform low voltage testing in accordance with general requirements section 011001, 1.3, Obligations of Contractor. CIVIL WORK includes relocation of the existing site utilities and stormwater outlet control structure with new underground storm piping for downspout connection. The scope also includes grading, new sidewalks, and partial asphalt paving replacement associated with the construction of the new additions.
