Renovation of a water / sewer project in Ames, Iowa. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project. This project includes a complete replacement of the entire headworks system beginning in FY 2023/24. The scope includes: - Replace Grit Conveyor - Bar Screen Improvements - Grit Wash Clarifier - Replace GRUs with New Head Cells - RWPS Piping and Supports The project is included in the city's 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of July 20, 2022, a design engineer has been selected. Bidding is anticipated to take place in late fall 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
