Advanced Metering Infrastructure

**As of March 31, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded . A timeline for award has not yet been established. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to obtain submittals from qualified companies to provide new Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) for the City's water, reuse water, and natural gas systems. The City provides water and sewer service to customers in the City of Sunrise, the City of Weston, as well as portions of both the Towns of Davie and Southwest Ranches. The City also provides natural gas service to customers in portions of the City of Sunrise and portions of the cities of Weston, Lauderhill, and Tamarac. The Proposer shall be licensed as a State of Florida Underground Utility Contractor at the time of submittal of its RFP and shall maintain this licensure for the duration of the Contract. The Proposer must provide a statement explaining what subcontractors they will require for any required collector/repeater installations, poles, foundations, and related electrical services with appropriately licensed subcontractors.
