Replacement of Mechanical HVAC System Naval Branch Health Clinic Makalapa (Building 1407), Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam

Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Joint Base Pearl Hbr Hickam, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility. The objective of this project is for the Contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to repair the Existing Building Envelope, replace AHUs 2 and 2A, and an option to provide a new Dedicated Outside Air System (DOAS) at Naval Branch Health Clinic Makalapa (Building 1407) Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. Scope includes but is not limited to. Repair all accessible gaps and penetrations in the building envelope/air barrier (to include crawlspace) to reduce the leakage and prevent untreated outside airflow from entering the building. Replace constant volume AHUs 2 and 2a and ductwork supporting Dental and Dental Sterilization Suite; add reheat and VAVs. Provide new dedicated exhaust systems to serve the Lab and Dental Sterilization Suite. Replace existing thermostats, lock to 72-74 degrees. Install air curtains at main entry doors. Replace damaged refrigerant pipe insulation. Perform TAB on facility. Correct the existing conditions where condensate is draining into the crawl space and provide new condensate drain that passes through an air gap and into the sanitary waste system. Install fans in crawlspace to assist with removal of moisture. But not limited to. Please read the RFP for a complete scope of work.
