Pre-Qualified Paving & Site/Civil - DFCM TSOB Asphalt Improvements

This project is needed to improve the drainage and pavement as well as to add pedestrian paths. Sawcut existing asphalt. Remove existing asphalt pavement. Remove existing road base / subgrade to 11" below finish grades. Remove and dispose of existing wheel stops. Sawcut and remove existing curb and gutter. Sawcut and remove existing concrete sidewalk and accessible ramps. Remove and dispose of existing concrete paving. Remove and dispose of existing landscaping and irrigation system as required. Trim existing tree branches. Trim existing tree roots. Blackout or otherwise remove existing parking stall striping. Remove and dispose of existing signs. Cut and remove existing landscaping. Relocate existing boulders. Install existing irrigation lines in sleeves beneath new concrete. Over excavate an additional 12" of soft subgrade and fill with pit-run material. Provide and install stabilization fabric. New storm drain catch basin. Provide and install new concrete apron at catch basin. Provide and install 8" dia. SDR-35 pipe. Sawcut top of existing catch basin to install concrete apron. Provide and install new release curb & gutter. Provide and install new curb & gutter to match existing. Provide and install new concrete waterway. Provide and install concrete sidewalk. Provide and install accessible ramp with curb. Provide and install large concrete stair. Provide and install large concrete stair stainless steel handrail. Provide and install 6" wide curb wall. Install 8" road base. Install 3" asphalt. Install 8" wide solid white pedestrian aisle lines. Install 4" wide parking stall striping. Install new ADA symbol striping. Stripe accessible loading/unloading aisles. Provide and install new wheel stops. Provide and install new ADA parking sign. New 4" dia. concrete filled pipe bollard. Convert existing sprinkler system valve to drip irrigation at existing trees. Provide and install clean fill beneath topsoil. Provide and install new topsoil. Provide and install rock mulch over weed barrier fabric. Provide and install sod. Modify, adjust, and repair existing irrigation system. Flush system and clean-out debris from existing and new storm drain catch basins. General Conditions. Project mobilization. Erosion control, sweep, and dust control. Construction survey and staking.
