Description | The project includes site development and construction of a new 12,500 square foot Transit Facility located within Crow Agency, MO, and includes maintenance and administrative functions. The proposed building will be a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) with gable roofed high and low bays. The building envelope will incorporate a fiberglass insulation and air barrier liner system as appropriate for northern tier climate zone 6. The building will be finished in metal roof and wall panels, using a variety of colors to provide a welcoming pedestrian scale at entry. The primary public facing entrance will feature a smaller gabled roof structure similar to the main building and will have windows with views to parking. The main entry vestibule will open into a lobby area with bench seating, restrooms and other public service amenities. Finishes will be durable ceramic tile flooring and base for easy cleaning and maintenance. The ceiling will be acoustical tile (ACT) and the space will feature multiple operable windows for natural daylighting, ventilation and views to parking and the surrounding scenery. The remainder of the low bay area will house administrative spaces including six private offices, a conference room to seat twelve people, storage and utility support spaces, and independent means of egress and access to parking. Finishes in this area will be painted drywall on light gauge metal framing, with ACT ceilings, carpet tile flooring, vinyl wall base and corner protection. The adjacent high bay area will house multiple service bays with overhead doors permitting parking and through travel without backing up. It will include a breakroom, locker room, restroom, lockable parts and storage room, and utility service entrance and support spaces. The service area will have a sealed concrete finish, with drainage as required for maintenance and vehicle washing. The perimeter walls and ceiling will be finished with a cleanable, bright, water resistant fabric liner. |
