FUEL SERVICES (GASOLINE)

Below are the City of Yorba Linda requirements for bidding on the 87 Octane Unleaded Gasoline Fuel Services. The City of Yorba Linda reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality or irregularity that might prove to be in the best interest of the City, and to revise or reduce quantities as needed, to stay within the availability of funds. After award by the City Council, and receipt of the Purchase Order from the Purchasing Division, the contractor shall furnish and deliver to the City of Yorba Linda, as needed 87 Octane Unleaded Gasoline. The quantities indicated in this bid are an estimate of the City's anticipated fuel usage per year, based on previous usage, and no quantities are guaranteed or inferred. The City will only purchase the quantities required by the City of Yorba Linda. Bidders must have the ability to provide and deliver petroleum fuels in accordance with the specifications. The City reserves the right to evaluate the bidders, including their fleet size and references from other customers and other public agencies, to determine whether the bidder has the capability to meet the requirements, in accordance with the bid specifications. The City's evaluation and conclusions shall be final, and bidders acknowledge this with the submission of their bid. AWARD OF BID: The Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder with the lowest Price Margin, whose Bid meets the City's requirements, and is accepted by the City of Yorba Linda. The term of this agreement shall be from August 1, 2023 to July 31, 2026. The agreement may be renewed for one (1) additional, two-year term by mutual agreement of the parties. Contracted unit prices shall remain in place until July 31, 2026. Unit price may be adjusted at each contract extension term. The Agency reserves the right, after opening bids, to reject any or all bids, or to make award to the lowest responsible bidder and reject all other bids; to waive any informality in the bidding; and to accept any bid or portion thereof; and to take all bids under advisement for a period of Ninety (90) calendar days. Only such plans, specifications, and items of work as are appropriate shall apply to the work as bid.
