| Description | BTU Line Clearance / Tree Trimming. Approximately 1,700 miles of 12.5- kV distribution line right-of-way and 130 miles of 69- kV/138- kV transmission line rights-of-way are maintained by BTU to keep trees, shrubs, vines, and grasses from interfering with the access, operability, integrity, and safety of the electric system. BTU serves the City of Bryan, Texas; most of rural Brazos County; and small areas of both Robertson and Burleson counties. Bid Bond - A certificate or cashier's check on a state or national bank of the State of Texas, or a Bidder's Bond from an acceptable surety company, authorized to transact business in the State of Texas, in the amount of no less than five percent (5%) a performance and a payment bond in an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%). |
