William Jones Renovation

William Jones Apartments is a 13 story CHA senior housing development located in the Pilsen community on the city's West side. Work includes but is not limited to the following - Site Work: A new parking lot will be constructed west of the building which will include stormwater management, paving, lighting, sewers, fencing, and landscaping. Environmental site remediation will occur around the building. - Exterior Envelope: Facade restoration includes masonry, sealant replacement, lintels, mortar joints, patching of the roof, and flashing around AC units. A new vestibule will be constructed in the SE corner of the building which will service the new parking lot. - Building Systems: A new Make Up Air system will be installed in the building and mechanical equipment on the roof and clean existing duct work. - Interior Renovation: A new fitness center and library / computer will be created on the first floor. The RSC office will be relocated to the community room.
