Description The project is located in the Hamlet of Scotts Corners in the Town of Pound Ridge, Westchester County and includes replacing existing sidewalks, constructing new sidewalks, upgrading pedestrian facilities to conform with Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) and Public Rights of Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG), installing measures (medians, signage, markings, etc.) designed to encourage lower vehicular travel speeds, modifying curbcuts and parking arrangements, planting shade trees, providing pedestrian level illumination, and improving the condition and application of traffic control devices.
