Description

Polk County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, requests the submittal of bids from vendors that are interested in providing the necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision to supply, install, and remove traffic markings on Polk County maintained roadways as described herein. Sealed bids must be received in the Procurement Division, prior to the due date and time listed below. Provide the necessary labor, material, equipment, and supervision to supply, install, and remove traffic markings on Polk County maintained roadways. Questions regarding this bid should be in writing and should reference the above Bid. Submit all questions to Michael Guerrero, Sr. Procurement Analyst, via email at michaelguerrero@polk-county.net or via fax at (863) 534-6789 by 4:00 p.m.; November 7, 2022. The term Women or Minority Owned Entity means any business having at least 51% ownership by women or minority group members who independently control the management and day-to-day operations of the firm. Group members are Females, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian-Pacific Americans, Native Americans, and Asian-Indian Americans. The period of performance for this bid is from the date of award through November 30, 2023 (termination Date). This bid will automatically renew, extending the Termination Date, for two (2) one (1) year periods, unless otherwise terminated in accordance with General Information Items #13 and #14. If the County provides notice to the Vendor at least 30 days prior to the Termination Date that it has not put in place a new bid for the goods, then this Bid shall remain in effect on a monthto-month basis until terminated by written notice from the County Procurement Division to the Vendor, but not longer than four (4) months following the termination date.
