Expand MD Anderson Rotary House International

This project includes the construction and activation of a new tower adjacent and connected to the existing Rotary House International (“RHI”) hotel , located at the intersection of Holcombe and S. Braeswood Boulevard. The scope of work will include all sitework, structure, utilities (electrical, gas, water, chilled water and/or steam), and complete interior finish-out, including the procurement and installation of all furnishings, fixtures, and equipment. Project will also include the construction of a pedestrian bridge across S. Braeswood Blvd, linking RHI to the parking garage on the east side of S. Braeswood. The project is intended provide an estimated one hundred and seventy-two (172) additional guest room and suites, plus additional hotel support spaces, including but not limited to: • Restaurant and kitchen • Laundry facilities (for guests) • Conference room and meeting room spaces • Pool & Spa renovations • Food and beverage ‘grab and go’ or retail space • Utility tie-ins (TECO, electrical, gas, etc) • Service dock • Building transformer pad The project may include the renovation of portions of the existing facility to improve the functionality of the hotel, such as relocation of the front desk and expansion of the kitchen and dining areas.
