Description | 2022 3rd 4th and 5th Avenue Water Renovation Rebid Est. Value: $ 1,500,000.00 Est. Value Notes: Project Estimated Value is the estimated total base bid. Est. Completion Date: Nov. 30, 2023 Pre-Bid Meeting Info: None Replacement of existing water mains consisting of 6" asbestos concrete, 6" cast iron, and 4" cast iron. The mains are located within: N 4th and 5th Ave from W Peach St to W Villard St, N 3rd St from W Peach St to W Lamme St, W Peach St from N 5th Ave to N 3rd Ave, and W Villard St from N 6th Ave to N 3rd Ave. These mains are to be replaced with approximately 4839 linear feet of 8" ductile iron water main and appurtenances. Additional replacement includes replacement of existing 10-inch cast iron water main located in the W Beall St intersection with N 3rd Ave with approximately 52 linear feet of 10-inch ductile iron pipe. All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Gallatin County and the state of Montana. The City of Bozeman is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This prohibition shall apply to the hiring and treatment of the awarded entity's employees and to all subcontracts. As such, each entity submitting under this notice shall include a provision wherein the submitting entity, or entities, affirms in writing it will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, marital status, national origin, or because of actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity or disability and which also recognizes the eventual contract will contain a provision prohibiting discrimination as described above and that this prohibition on discrimination shall apply to the hiring and treatment of the submitting entity's employees and to all subcontracts. Each Bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Bozeman, Montana, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids.
