Description

Boardwalk construction project is in south central Escambia County near Jones Creek in the Jones Swamp Wetland Preserve. Project will extend existing Southwest Greenway Trail System west of Fairfield Drive. Base bid boardwalk project begins at the Native Paths Cultural Center located 3300 Beloved Paths, in the Bay Meadows Subdivision. The 568’ linear foot boardwalk extends west then north crossing over a wet weather creek ending in the uplands with an 8’ x 12’ landing area plat form with 2 steps down to the existing surface trail.
