Agriculture Meter Installation

The State Entity is Seeking Suppliers for the Agricultural Meter Installation Project. This project encompasses new meter installations for withdrawal sources in which the permittee submitted an application for an agricultural water withdrawal permit to the State Entity prior to December 31, 2002, in accordance with O.C.G.A. §§ 12-5-31 and 12-5-105. This project will also include repair and replacement of meters that are currently installed in the state and not functioning. The project will be limited to four priority river basins – the Flint River Basin, Suwannee River Basin, Chattahoochee River Basin and Ochlockonee River Basin and will cover 61 counties (Exhibit B). Meter installations, repairs and replacements within this scope of services will need to be completed between October 1 and April 15.
