As-Needed Asphalt and Concrete Repair and Replacement Services

The work is maintenance-type work and consists, in general, of the removal and replacement of existing portland cement concrete sidewalks, driveways, curb and gutters, curb ramps, valley gutters, median island curb/curb and gutters, walkways, flat work, installation and/or replacement of interlocking concrete pavers, and replacement of asphalt concrete pavement adjacent to portland cement concrete work, as required. The work may also include reconstructing catch basin tops, replacing curb face drains, installing tree root barriers and various other concrete/masonry work. The majority of the work consists of the removal and replacement of existing portland cement concrete sidewalks, driveways and curb and gutters where drainage problems exist or where displacements may have become a public safety hazard. The replacement improvements will be placed over existing base material, in most cases, or over new aggregate base material as directed by the City Project Manager.
