| Description | On-call Electrical Services. The selected contractor shall be expected to perform a wide variety of electrical and electronic installations and repairs. Repairs may call for pole and transformer replacement aboveground, fuse replacement and associated wiring if necessary. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined goal reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 10.4% of the final contract price including accepted alternates. The purpose of this procurement is for the Lowell Housing Authority to contract with a qualified electrical contractor who can perform various electrical maintenance and repair services at any time when the agency does not have the available resources to do so. The selected Contractor shall be expected to perform a wide variety of electrical and electronic installations and repairs. Repairs may call for pole and transformer replacement above ground, fuse replacement and associated wiring if necessary. |
