Total sq ft for project not available at this time. Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Boulder City, Nevada. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot. The classroom proposed is a 50-person classroom with two separate storage rooms, bathrooms, and a small kitchenette area. This will be able to be used for police and fire classes, as well as by other city departments and council for community meetings. It will allow for joint police and fire classes that are currently not practical due to limited space in the current facilities. Another potential use for this facility would be in a future regional health emergency where large numbers of people need to assemble. This would have the appropriate amount of parking based on city planning standards. This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
