Sugar Land Regional Airport Runway 17/35 Rubber Removal and Paint Markings

The City of Sugar Land requires the cleaning, preparation and painting of all Runway 17/35 markings located at the Sugar Land Regional Airport, 12888-B Highway 6 South, Sugar Land Texas 77498. All material, processes, products and final markings must comply with Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular AC No. 150/5340-1M Subject: Standards for Airport Markings dated 12/23/2020 and Advisory Circular AC No. 150/5370-10 Standards for Specifying Construction of Airports dated 12/21/2018. Runway 17/35 is a concrete runway approximately 8000 long by 100 wide with two 20 wide concrete shoulders on each side. All rubber is to be removed from runway touchdown areas and all Thresholds, Threshold Bars, Arrow heads, Centerlines, Runway Edges, Aiming Points and Touchdown Zone. In addition, all taxiway Lead-in/out and HOLD SHORT markings are to be painted. See Figure 1.
