Description | The work under this project shall consist of construction at two sites in the Oak Orchard development referred to as Site 12 & 13 (Mercer Avenue) and Site 18 (Captain's Grant, alternate). Work proposed for Site 12&13 (Mercer Ave) consist of installation of new storm piping, drainage swales associated work as follows; approximately 565 LF of 15" RCP pipe; approximately 20LF of 18" RCP pipe; approximately 206 LF of 24" HDPE pipe (including 24" outfall into Indian River Bay); approximately 220 LF of 19"x30" elliptical RCP pipe. Work shall include installation of approximately 15 stormwater structures, approximately 600 LF of existing drainage channel reconstruction, and all necessary provisions to complete the scope of work, including but not limited to excavation and trench support, removal and disposal of existing drainage works, furnishing and installing drainage pipes and structures with appropriate appurtenances, backfilling, pipe support with pile, grading, topsoiling, seeding and stabilizing all disturbed areas. The project shall also include traffic management, erosion control measures, permanent pavement trench repair, pavement overlays and utility coordination to complete the project works. Work proposed for Site 18 (Captain's Grant, alternate) consist of installation of new storm piping, drainage swales associated work as follows: approximately 50 LF of HDPE 24" pipe; approximately 50 LF of 19"x30" elliptical RCP pipe. Work shall include approximately 1125 LF of existing drainage channel reconstruction, and all necessary provisions to complete the scope of work, including but not limited to excavation and trench support, removal and replacement of existing drainage works, furnishing and installing drainage pipes and structures with appropriate appurtenances, backfilling, pipe support with piles, grading, topsoiling, seeding and stabilizing all disturbed areas. The project shall also include traffic management, erosion control measures, permanent pavement trench repair and utility coordination to complete the project works. |
