| Description | Installation of a lightweight removable panelized grid surface (Wire Grid) that will replace an existing grating system that currently presents fall hazards for personnel. The grid shall be a specialty performance system specifically intended for technical personnel access, and constructed such that performance lighting may shine through the walking surface without noticeable shadowing or obstructions on surfaces below. The grid system shall include: • A series of nominal 4’ x 4’ removable panels constructed to be supported from the building’s existing support structure. • Lighting pipes per the drawings • Lighting pipe supports on existing grid support hangers. • Additional pipe hangers to support lighting pipes • New code compliant toe kicks at grid perimeter • All other equipment and accessories to provide a complete system |
