Deerwood Trail/Path from Westheimer Road to Terry Hershey Hike and Bike Trail

Project is to perform the following improvements to the streets listed below within the Westchase District boundaries: CityWest Boulevard (within existing west right-of-way only) from Westheimer Road to Briar Forest Drive 1. Remove existing sidewalk 2. Construct 8-ft wide concrete path 3. Remove and replace portion of curb 4. Remove and replace concrete driveways 5. Relocate conflicting metal pole street lights as shown in street lighting plans 6. Adjust covers to public utilities 7. Remove and replace storm sewer inlets (stage II or entire inlet) Briar Forest Drive from CityWest Boulevard to Walnut Bend Lane: 1. Remove existing northern sidewalk, along Briar Forest Dr, from Citywest Blvd. to just east of HCFCD Unit No. W157-00-00 and replace with 6-ft wide sidewalk 2. Install bike route signage Walnut Bend Lane from Briar Forest Drvie to Blue Willow Drive, Riverview Drive from Walnut Bend Lane to Riverview Drive, Riverview Drive from Blue Willow Drive to Deerwood Drive: 1. Install bike route signage Deerwood Drive from Riverview Drive to West Sam Houston Frontage Road: 1. Remove existing sidewalk 2. Construct 8-ft wide concrete path 3. Construct 6-ft wide sidewalk 4. Remove and replace portions of concrete pavement and curbs 5. Remove and replace concrete driveways 6. Adjust covers to public utilities 7. Remove and replace storm sewer inlets 8. Add two-way dedicated bike lanes to westbound travel lane.
