Ledgewood Pond Dam Improvements

The project includes, but is not limited to lowering of lake in accordance with NJFW Water Lowering Permit; installation of temporary soil erosion and sediment control measures; construction of temporary cofferdam/piped stream diversion; clearing of trees from top of slope to toe of slope; resetting of monitoring wells, relocation of fishing line recycling bins, removing/resetting picnic tables, and removal of inactive poles/guy/lines; concrete repair work to existing outlet structure and coating repair of existing pipe; creation of 150' wide gabion basket auxiliary spillway; raising of berm east and west of auxiliary spillway and placement of trail surface treatment; construction of diaphragm drain around exposed piping; installation of 5' diameter manhole, concrete headwall with wingwalls and 36" RCCP, construction of concrete cradle and placement of gabions between wingwalls; grading, topsoiling, seeding and providing soil stabilization matting on exposed embankment slopes outside of spillway limits.
