| Description | Work consists of the dredging, removal and proper disposal of sludge from the 48 million gallon (MG) capacity sludge lagoon that receives flows from the Pequannock Water Treatment Plant. The sludge lagoon is located approximately two miles away from the WTP and is situated adjacent to the Charlotteburg Reservoir. The project includes the removal of anthracite/sludge material from the backwash holding and decant tanks at the Pequannock Water Treatment Plant, which will be performed on a quarterly basis. The project includes on-call services for the removal and disposal of sludge from the Pequannock Water Treatment Plant. The project includes the hauling and disposal of dewatered sludge cake from the Pequannock Residuals Treatment Facility, which will be performed on a weekly basis. |
