Floyd Trail Connector - 459-321 - City of Sioux City

This project covers the design and construction of the Floyd Trail Connection that would transverse along the Floyd River connecting to the newly constructed I-29 Riverfront Trail Connection to Chautauqua Park and to the existing Floyd River Trail that would feed into the multi-jurisdictional PlyWood Trail. The trail development would provide access to Chris Larsen Park, the Siouxland Expo Center, and various riverfront destinations. This trail development project will position the Floyd River Trail as one of the premier trail connections within the City. This project is included in the fy 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program. As of May 31, 2023, further details regarding design completion and firm construction timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
