Description

The scope of work entails the replacement of waste piping, floor sinks, and grease traps in the West Pavilion Basement kitchen of University Hospital. The scope includes saw-cutting of existing slabs, excavation, installation of new waste piping and fixtures, and repair of concrete slabs and finishes. Waste line piping replacement sizes range from 4" to 6" in diameter. The work shall be performed within the operating hospital facility using a high level of infection control measures. The Contractor shall demonstrate experience with the implementation and maintenance of infection control measures and interim life safety measures in hospital environments. The Contractor shall also demonstrate experience with performing construction in a hospital kitchen environment which had to remain operational during construction
