| Description | Set Aside for Indian Economic Enterprises. The Office of Facilities Management and Construction, Western Regional Office, maintains and repairs Government owned facilities in the Western Region locations in Arizona, Utah, Nevada and California. The project consists of re-roof over an existing roof with approximately 15,400 square feet of single ply roofing system at Tohono O'odham High School Building 800. The Tohono O'odham High School is located in Pima County, on the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation approximately 75 miles south of the City of Casa Grande, Arizona, and is approximately 130 miles south of Phoenix, Arizona and 41 miles northwest of Sells, Arizona. Scope includes Re-roofing of the existing High School Building #800, identified as a BIA structure constructed in 1986. The building is roughly 24,000 sq. ft. single story made up of cement block on a concrete slab. The existing roof is built of a single ply roofing member over rigid insulation and standing seam metal roofs. The existing conditions of the roofing membrane have extreme weather deterioration and the roofing membrane will be removed and replaced with new. New parapet caps will be removed and installed with new in areas of exposed weather deteriorated seams. All HVAC units are not to be tampered with however mechanical ducts are supported by metal legs and sitting directing on top of the roofing membrane causing wear and tear. Those areas need to be adjusted for the lifetime of the new membrane. New gutters and down spouts are to be installed at the south end of the building which do not exist. | ||
