4th Street NW Streetscape and Piazza

This project entails two public right-of-way improvement projects located immediately adjacent to each other. Part A entails replacing the existing concrete sidewalk along Avenue D NW, Avenue C NW, and 4th Street SW with brick pavers in a design that mirrors other recent downtown streetscape endeavors completed by the City. The project also incorporates landscape beds, pedestrian lighting, and related infrastructure for electric, fiber, and reclaimed water. Part B entails converting the existing 4th Street NW surface parking lot (between Avenue C NW and Avenue B NW) to a parking piazza by replacing the asphalt surfacing with brick pavers. The project also incorporates landscape beds, pedestrian lighting, and related infrastructure for electric, fiber, and reclaimed water.
