Description

Building Additions and Renovations shall include demolition, repair and modernization to existing floors, walls, structures, and roof systems. All building systems shall be fully updated to provide a modern facility with updated building envelop, improved energy efficiency, modern teaching facilities including casework, marker, and tack boards, updated technology, and similar systems. Mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems shall be fully replaced with new, including new electrical service with back-up generator, new plumbing and storm drainage piping systems, and new mechanical systems with support by on-site geothermal wells and piping systems. The building shall be fully sprinklered, supported by an on-site water supply consisting of a water storage tank and fire pump. The main school building shall be supported by two on-site supplemental building structures for lawn care and mechanical piping systems (environmental and sprinkler). Sitework shall include expanded bus parking; new sidewalks, fire lane, stormwater devices and play areas.
