Mountain View Elevator Modernization

Elevator Modernization at Mountain View High School for Mesa Public Schools. The bid shall include labor, material, equipment, services and transportation necessary for modernization of the elevator projects. Project Location: Mountain View High School, 2700 E. Brown Road, Mesa, AZ 85213 Project: Elevator Modernization at Mountain View High School Base Bid – Mechanical: Provide new mini-split A/C unit to cool the Elevator Equipment Room. Provide refrigerant piping between the wall mounted indoor unit and the ground mounted outdoor condensing unit. Provide concrete housekeeping pad for the outdoor unit to sit on along with a cage to cover/protect the outdoor unit.Remove the existing window A/C unit, controls, thermostat, and all associated wiring/conduit from the Telephone Room located directly above the Elevator Equipment Room. Patch opening in stucco’ ed masonry wall to match existing. Electrical: Disconnect and remove existing electrical equipment, light fixtures and devices in the existing elevator machine room, including existing elevator power feed. Provide new power connections to the new elevator equipment, A/C units, new light fixtures, receptacles and disconnect switches. Provide design and installation for the new fire alarm system as pertains to the elevator and the elevator machine room. Architectural: Provide a new 8’-0” tall 1-hour rated wall, ceiling, and door to enclose the new Elevator Equipment Room. Texture, finish, and paint to match existing. Elevator Equipment Contractor: Remove existing elevator equipment, piping, and controls from the existing Elevator Equipment Room. Provide and Install new Microprocessor based controls, new Landing System, and new Submersible pump unit. Provide and install new Car, machine room, and hoistway wiring. Provide and install new Car closed-loop door operator and all related hardware. Provide and install new Car, hall fixture to meet current A.D.A. Federal guidelines, and all Cab interior upgrades as approved by School District.
